About the company

AWAC, spol. s r.o. was founded in October 1990. Its main activity was the provision of services through the method of cutting materials with a high-pressure water jet, which was little-known at that time. In spite of the initial mistrust of customers in this technology, the interest in cutting had continued to grow. This is because the advantages of a high-pressure water jet won in all respects - a cut without microcracks, a cold cut, the achievement of a shaped product with a single operation, the possibility to cut even very problematic materials. AWAC, spol. s r.o. has focused on the quality and reliability of the services performed from the very beginning.

Company development

Since its establishment, the company has undergone great development. In addition to company's plant in Prague, other custom workplaces in Pilsen and Brno opened over the years. At the custom workplaces, materials can be cut in thicknesses ranging from 0.1 mm to 250 mm and in a maximum blank size of 3,000 mm x 6,000 mm. The equipment used at the custom workplaces is constantly being extended. We currently also perform 3D cutting with bevel elimination, which is one of the latest trends in water jet cutting. Our number of cutting machines and high-pressure water pumps makes us one of the largest commercial cutting rooms in the Czech Republic.

Our goal is customer satisfaction. For this reason, we focus on purchasing the latest technology and on constantly increasing and maintaining quality, including shorter deadlines for executing orders. As a matter of course, we provide transport through forwarding companies or the possibility to borrow a trailer for the transport of products. At some locations, we also provide additional services such as tumbling work on products or the certified transfer of markings.

The company has decided to use its practical experience and skills acquired in customized cutting, and it offered its customers the supply of high-pressure water jet technology workplaces, including installation and servicing. The company's years of practical experience with water jet cutting and the latest cutting technology and cutting-edge trends are used in preparing offers. We strive to achieve maximum quality and minimize additional production costs.

Cooperation with Hypertherm

In cooperating with Hypertherm (the largest producer of plasma sources), we have managed to solve the problem of cutting small and precise holes using TrueHole technology. Any customer will definitely find what they need from the wide range of machines for plasma cutting with a 0.5 mm to 120 mm quality cut in accordance with ISO 9013. For autogenous cutting, we supply machines with a cutting depth of up to 300 mm, including bevel cutting up to 45 ° prepared under a weld (V, K, Y) and cut using a triple-burner autogenous rotator or 3D rotator.

Our offer also includes CNC laser cutting machines, whose design and structure provides customers with competitiveness and high returns with minimal maintenance requirements when larger amount material is being processed at a higher quality.

However, AWAC's services do not end with the supply and installation of the technology. Warranty and post-warranty services are provided by trained service technicians as a matter of course.
